Ft. Lauderdale

It's 9:30am, Wednesday morning, May 1. I write this from the lobby of the Hilton Hotel, just adjacent to the pier in Ft. Lauderdale. We docked at 6am this morning, completing our 4-month circumnavigation of the world, approximately 38,000 miles. We caught a taxi at 8:00 for the short trip to the hotel - we would have walked but it was pouring rain. Our plan for the day is to utilize Hilton's complimentary internet to update our website, stop by Walgreen's to restock some toiletries, and return to the pier by 3:00 as we set sail again this evening for a 2-week journey westward to San Diego. As always, we'll do our best to keep you informed as we go. I have some interesting thoughts & observations to share with you, and will do so over the coming days. In the meantime, we've updated several destinations with dozens of photographs (thanks to the Hilton's free internet), and here are some shortcuts (below) to get you there quickly.
